Every once in a while Corbin will go down for his nap too late, and then we need to wake him up so his bedtime isn't ruined. We'll open his door so he wakes up a little more "naturally."
The last few times we've done this, Corbin got up, closed the door, and went back to bed.
The last time this happened, Brit said "ha, now you know how we feel!"

The clock
We got Corbin a "teach me time" clock. It turns green when it's time to get up. He picked up on it quickly, and every morning he wakes up and comes in at precisely 7:01 saying "cwock turn gween! Get up!"
It works a little TOO well though. He has a hard time coming out after his nap, and when I finally go in to him he's sitting on his bed telling me "get up light turn gween!" The light doesn't come on after a nap... I think it stresses him out...
